Absence of code or ACSL specification is a major issue which often renders
the analysis incorrect. For this reason, we recommend converting this warning
into an error, in order to spot it immediately.
The {\em analysis script templates}, to be presented in
section~\ref{analysis-scripts}, already include this change.
The {\em analysis scripts template}, mentioned in the Frama-C User
Manual~\cite{FCUserMan}, includes it by default.

\section{Analysis scripts and templates}\label{analysis-scripts}
Setting up an analysis is a process that takes some time. Iterating an
analysis (changing the parametrization, adding annotations, etc.) is a process
which can greatly benefit from a structured approach, for instance to avoid
reparsing the sources when only \Eva{}-related options are modified.
For both tasks, Frama-C offers some templates and scripts to help the user.
The files themselves are located mostly in Frama-C's \verb|share| directory
(\verb|FRAMAC_SHARE|, when running \verb|frama-c-config|), but they can be
accessed via the \verb|frama-c-script| command, among which we cite:
\begin{description}
\item[make-template]: creates a Makefile template in the current directory.
This template follows the recommended three-step setup
(section~\ref{three-step}), tracks dependencies (e.g. re-running parsing
when source files are modified) and offers useful targets for the user.
\item[find-fun]: useful to find which source files declare/define a given
function; for instance, when there are multiple \verb|main| functions.
\item[flamegraph]: opens a {\em flamegraph}\footnote{See
https://github.com/brendangregg/FlameGraph for details about flamegraphs.}
(a graphical profiling tool) of the analysis performed by \Eva{}.
\end{description}
Running \verb|frama-c-script| without arguments outputs the list of
currently-available commands\footnote{The list of commands is liable to change
for each Frama-C release.}.
