Many things can happen depending on the structure of the code itself and the slicing criterion you're using. Thus, it would be better if you could provide a (not too big ð) code sample together with the options you've given to frama-c. Of course, this doesn't need to be the exact code you're working on (we fully understand issues tied to working with non-free software), but it has to reproduce your original problem somehow.
