Dear list, With the upcoming Frama-C 18 (Argon) release, a renaming of all Frama-C opam packages has been performed. Instead of the "YYYYMMVV" format, a numbering based on the atomic element number (XX.Y) is now used. For instance, the first Chlorine release (20180501) is now numbered 17.0, and the second Chlorine release (20180502) is now 17.1. In practical terms, this should have no impact for opam users, except when doing `opam upgrade`; in this case, opam will propose "downgrading" the Frama-C version, as in:  â downgrade frama-c       20180502 to 17.1 This will simply reinstall the same Frama-C version. This is an unfortunate side-effect of the renaming. Note that users with opam 1.2 (or older) will not see any changes; however, new Frama-C opam packages will not be available on opam 1.2.
